Homework Policy

Homework will be assigned each day (sometimes math and special projects are carried over to weekends). Students will copy down the homework assignments from the board in their agendas, which is why agendas need to be brought to school each day. We will spend a few minutes each day going over the assignments so that students will know what is expected of them. **Please check and sign your child’s agenda each day!

Incomplete/Late Work
If a student does not have the required work for the day, he or she must complete it for the following day, during recess. They will also lose Cannata Cash dollars. They will also receive a Student Report, which you must sign and return. Three reports in a School Quarter equal a detention. I will be recording homework each day and I expect students to have it completed. If a student consistently misses or has incomplete homework, his/her grade will begin to drop.

Weekly Report
I will be handing out a weekly report to all students every Friday. This weekly report will notify you on how your child is doing on his/her homework, behavior, and all around effort. It will also have information about the upcoming week. **The weekly report will need to be signed and returned each Monday. If it is not signed, students will pay Cannata Cash.
