May Book Report 
Cereal Boxes
DUE DATE: Last Friday in May

From colorful, box-panel games to free prizes, cereal-box designers compete for customers to buy their product. Your assignment is to get me to “buy” your cereal box book report!

Materials: An empty cereal box Scissors Paper Glue Markers/colored pencils/crayons Pencil/pen

Instructions:
1. Cover your cereal box in white paper (like wrapping a Christmas present).
2. The front panel will include the title, author, copyright date, and 1-2 sentences describing the story’s theme/main idea. This should also include a bright, detailed picture to grab our attention.
3. The back panel will include a game that incorporates story facts and characters and teaches the player(s) about the story.
4. The side panels should creatively present important story elements such as characters, plot, and setting.

You will be graded on creativity, neatness, and the information you include in your report. 

Grading: 60 Total Points
