Guidelines and Rubric for making your ABC FICTION BOOK REPORT!
Cover Page
- Be very creative with your cover for your report.
- Make it colorful and include a picture that represents your book.
- Write the TITLE, AUTHOR, YOUR NAME, AND DATE on the cover.
ABC PAGES
- You must go back in your book and find whatever begins with EACH LETTER OF THE ALPHABET. There are 26 letters in the alphabet---use all of them!
- You must write (or type) the LETTER, and the WORD THAT REPRESENTS THAT LETTER.
- Do not skip any of the letters of the alphabet.
- You must include a PICTURE that represents that letter from your story. Pictures can be hand drawn (must be neatly drawn and understandable), computer graphics, or magazine pictures. ***Do not make copies of the pictures from your book!
- Write (or type) 2-3 sentences about the word and how it relates to your story.
EXTRA CREDIT POINTS!!!! Showing original work in your pictures and words for each letter of the alphabet and how well your words relate to the story can earn you up to 10 points!
Grading: 60 Total Points (+ Extra Credit)
