music appreciation

Each month I will play a different genre of music and each day a particular artist will be played to support that genre.  Students are to note the genre and artist which will be written on the board.  They must keep this information throughout the school year.  In May each student will orally present a report on all the genres of music they heard, focusing on the history of the genre, important facts and specific information about artists.  Students must have a creative visual to accompany their report
